Mal is a qualified Waterproofing Surveyor, Approved Cetco Inspector and also has his Certificate III in Waterproofing. Mal joined the Bayset team in March 2008 with over 15 years experience in both Australia and the UK with roles such as Specification Manager, Applicator and Sales and Marketing.
Mal has an intimate knowledge of the below ground waterproofing, crack injection, concrete repair, Tile adhesive, and levelling compounds.
Mal has worked on many high profile jobs in both the UK and Australia including the Palace of Westminster, Tower of London, London Underground, The New Wembley Stadium, and many other specialised projects in Australia.

Steve Russell

Steve has been in the Waterproofing Industry for over twenty years having run his own successful business in both Canberra and Brisbane. Steve has worked in all areas of the industry but has specialised in all forms of Sheet membranes such as Torch On, TPO and PVC. Steve has Certificate III in Waterproofing, Approved Cetco Inspector and also a licensed Wolfin applicator. Steve brings a vast amount of practical knowledge to the Bayset team and has a methodical approach to everything he undertakes. Steve is available to all Bayset customers to discuss and inspect your project whether it a new build or remedial problem solving.
Some of Steve projects include: Parliament House, John Gorton Building, Australian National University, The Prime Ministers Lodge.
Interests: AFL, Fishing, Water Skiing.
Daniel Ford
Territory Manager - Gold Coast

With over 10 years practical experience as a Waterproofing Contractor, Daniel takes a
hands on approach to assisting our clients. He can often be found back " on the tools" on
weekends helping out on a tricky job. Daniel has a working knowledge of a wide range
of waterproofing procedures and products and has worked extensively with various
concrete injection and repair, sheet membrane and epoxy coatings. Daniel is available to
all our Bayset customers to assist with not only the right material selection for the job but
also practical experience on the application of these systems.

Luke Caruso

Luke joined the Bayset team in 2010 as 2IC in the Kawana shop. Luke is a CERT III qualified waterproofer with
extensive experience in liquid and sheet membranes systems He has had practical experience with all types of
Waterproofing and Tiling jobs from small residential projects to large commercial projects.
Luke is a Sunshine Coast local who enjoys getting out on to the coal face with our customers to fully understand their
product requirements.
Luke enjoys supporting the Broncos and fishing.
Dan Denigan

Dan joins Bayset with over five years experience with an internationally recognized
waterproofing manufacturer. He also has many years experience within the hospitality
industry covering such areas as repairs and maintenance, management and the design
and installation of high end beverage systems. Dan understands the value of building long
term relationships with his customers and this coupled with his 'can do attitude', ensures
that all of Dan's customers make him the first point of contact for all there Waterproofing,
Flooring and Concrete Repair needs.

Gary Warburton

Gary joined the Bayset team in October 2008 having worked previously for an
internationally recognized construction product manufacturer. In his time at Bayset Gary
has gained an extensive knowledge of the waterproofing and tiling industries and is focused
on delivering a high standard of customer service. Gary and the team at Bayset Coopers
Plains have all the right tools to provide our customers with sound advice on the wide
range of products stocked by Bayset.

Alex Gemmell

Alex comes to Bayset from New Zealand where he has spent over 10 years working in
a sales capacity within the construction industry. He has worked for some of the biggest
manufacturers of construction products worldwide and has extensive knowledge in epoxy
coatings, levelling compounds and concrete repair mortars. With Alex's High level of
customer service, he ensures that his customers needs are met as and when required.
Alex has a keen interest in the fitness industry and in rugby league. He has played and
coached for over 17 years and currently coaches with Easts Tigers.
