Low-Viscosity Hydrophobic Water-Activated Grout
SealBoss® 1500LV is a low-viscosity, hydrophobic water-activated grout based on MDI polyurethane. This two-component product is mixed at a 1:1 ratio by volume and is 100% solvent-free and 100% solids.
When exposed to water, SealBoss® 1500LV expands its volume by 30 to 40 times, forming a semi-flexible foam. Since water isn’t part of the foam structure, the cured material is highly resistant to water and dry conditions, maintaining its size without shrinking or swelling.
The 1:1 formulation results in a dense, closed-cell structure when injected under pressure. Lower counter pressure yields a more expanded and less rigid product.
For effective waterproofing, a closed-cell structure is essential. SealBoss® 1500LV is designed to stop water infiltration, even under elevated hydrostatic pressures. Thanks to its very low viscosity, this grout excels at penetrating hairline cracks and can also be used to fill larger voids, cracks, and honeycombs in concrete or stone structures.
